Honda’s HR-V continues to strike a great balance between style and efficiency. For 2025 Honda have treated it to a thorough refresh in order to ensure that this model remains competitive in the hotly contested compact SUV segment in which it competes.
The HR-V model line-up has also been streamlined to one model carrying the Elegance nomenclature, which balances the features of the previously offered Comfort and Executive variants at a more affordable price.
Elegance derivatives now boast a host of advanced features as standard including Honda Sensing, a 15W Wireless Smartphone Charger and Auto High Beam LED headlights.
Exterior enhancements
Upfront the HR-V now features a redesigned, body-coloured grille, flanked by those LED headlights, which contributes to a bolder more distinctive presence on the road. At the rear a new full-LED taillight stripe and high-gloss lower bumper garnish add a touch of elegance and dynamism. The HR-V now rides on newly designed, dual-tone 18-inch wheels.
Interior updates
The interior of the HR-V Elegance is equipped with eco-friendly leather seats that are designed to provide optimum comfort on long journeys.
The centre console has been redesigned to optimise practicality and convenience and is now home to two USB ports, including a Type A and Type C each as well as a 15W Wireless Smartphone Charger.
Centrally mounted is an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, which now features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring capability. Additional interior creature comforts include Smart Keyless Entry and Adaptive Cruise Control.
In the rear Honda’s acclaimed Magic Seats are in place and offer the ability to be stowed in numerous directions in order to accommodate long or tall items of cargo.
A long list of standard features
The HR-V Elegance features a comprehensive list of standard specification as it delivers the best of the previously offered Comfort and Executive models at an attractive price point.
The standard offering has been significantly bolstered and now includes Honda’s innovative driver assistance system, Honda Sensing, which incorporates Lane-Keeping Assist, Emergency Collision Mitigation Braking and Road Departure Mitigation. Standard safety fare includes VSA, ABS, EBD and Hill Start Assist.
