The new
Polo Sedan has a distinctive and striking exterior design, which not only makes it a sight to behold, but also a treat to drive. The new
Polo Sedan measures 4 561mm in length, 1 752mm in width and 1 507mm in height. Its sharp shoulder lines exude both power and elegance. The
Polo Sedan comes standard with
LED headlights and taillights, a signature chrome grille, 16-inch alloy wheels and a chrome package with chrome window strips and chrome door handles which accentuate the striking look of the Sedan.
Spacious interior
Along with the striking exterior, the new
Polo Sedan also offers a stylish, versatile and modern interior which offers a world-class experience of connectivity and technology. Offering a premium dual-tone interior, dual-tone seat upholstery and premium touch surfaces, the
Polo Sedan combines comfort with sheer elegance. The new
Polo Sedan is equipped with features like keyless entry, ambient lighting and
Climatronic air-conditioning (only available in the Life derivatives), multi-function steering wheel and 521 litres of boot space.

The new
Polo Sedan comes standard with a host of technology, entertainment and connectivity features such as a 7-inch touchscreen radio, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system equipped with wireless App-Connect and wireless mobile charging (only available in the Life derivatives) and eight sound speakers.
Safety and convenience
The new
Polo Sedan has up to six airbags, Electronic Stability Control
(ESC), multi-collision braking system,
LED headlights and taillights, tyre pressure monitoring, Park Distance Control in the rear, rear-view camera (only available in the
Life derivatives) and Hill Start Assist (only available in the
Life Tiptronic derivative).
Engine
The new
Polo Sedan model range is offered with the four-cylinder MPI petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual or 6-speed
Tiptronic transmission. The engine delivers 81kW power and 152Nm of torque. It takes 11.2 seconds to reach 100km/h, the top speed is 190km/h and fuel consumption is 6.2 litres/100km. The
Tiptronic derivative delivers the same power and torque as the manual and takes 12.2 seconds to reach 100km/h. The top speed is 187km/h and fuel consumption is 6.5 litres/100km.

The new
Polo Sedan comes standard with a 3 year/120 000km warranty, a 3 year/ 45 000km EasyDrive Service Plan and a 12-year anti-corrosion warranty. The service interval is 15 000km. Customers have the option to extend EasyDrive Maintenance and EasyDrive Service Plans up to 10 years/ 300 000km.
